George Shrinks Nightmares: The Selfie
A rumble began to tickle George's legs. The tiny boy sat quietly doing his homework on Owen's bedspread, sitting next to his giant friend. He looked up to see the larger boy shifting his position by putting his hands on the sheets and wiggling his butt to slouch farther down. Owen sighed deeply.
"What's that for?" George asked meekly.
Owen shrugged. "I dunno... I'm just bored," he said out of the corner of his mouth. He looked back at his algebra worksheet to see his accomplishments so far had amounted to nothing. He sighed again. George was in a similar pickle. His (tiny) homework sheet was far from completion, so far that the first questi
Tristan was having the nicest dream. Everything was calm and colorful. But just as suddenly as they came, the colors faded, leaving Tristan to wake up from a sleepy haze. He blinked a few times, his eyes adjusting to the bright white light around him. The tired teenager sat up, resting his hands on the bedspread underneath him. It felt soft and warm.
A slight movement of the floor beneath him gave the high school senior a big jolt. Tristan gasped. He looked around, quickly realizing this was not his bedroom at all. His legs were not dangling off the edge of his bed. Looking down, there was no carpet beneath his feet. The white tile floor loo

Gavin woke up to the sound of birds chirping. He felt his stomach, relieved to discover that the swelling in his gut had returned to normal. It was early morning, just after sunrise. He sighed. Another horrible day of filming lied ahead of him.
As he stepped out of his tent, he saw Joel pacing in the clearing, walking back and forth, muttering to himself. Gavin could pick out a few words, Doesn’t make sense… Giants… Joel stopped as soon as he heard the other boy approaching. “Are you alright?” Gavin asked warmly.
The actor stopped pacing and looked at Gavin. The young, blonde teenager was hot last night and ch

The screaming became harder and harder to hear after the giant boy tilted his head back and swallowed the tiny man. Everyone in the valley heard Bradley gulp. The tiny creature squirmed and writhed as he got sucked down the giant’s throat. High up near Bradley’s face, up in the tallest palm tree, a cameraman with a baseball cap zoomed in and captured the gargantuan swallow on film.
Poor Bradley immediately went red in the face. This is not happening. This is not happening, he told himself. Coincidentally, he felt like he was going to be sick. The giant boy turned to the ocean, bent his knees, and vomited into the sea. Like a cann
You wake up.
Everything feels farther away from you than it's ever been. It's dark, but you can still make out distant shapes. There's a building next to you, another building off in the distance, and you're standing in some strange kind of grass. The grass resembles... fabric, and it smells like it too.
Wait, could it be?
You rub your eyes and focus. That building you saw before is actually a bookcase! The other building next to you is a bed. The ground beneath you is the sleeping bag you fell asleep in many hours ago. You sit down in disbelief and try to remember the day.
You were hanging out with your friend Will and walking around the

Only when Gavin stepped off of the ferry did he begin to feel the heat of the island, but as soon as he did, it didn’t feel like work anymore. As far as he was concerned, this was a vacation on the deserted tropical island of La Portchesca, a few miles east of the Virgin Islands. Gavin Macintosh was just seventeen, and getting to work with this mysterious director on a secret project was going to shoot his career up into the sky. They would be shooting in Backteach Bay, and all Gavin could hear whenever his agent said the name was the sound of waves crashing as he layed on the sandy shore. He ran his fingers through his light-brown hair

“Are you kidding?” Connor yelled at his brother, trying to figure out if he was actually serious. He tried as hard as he could to make angry eye-contact.
The clean-shaven teenager was unaffected by Connor’s outburst. “No,” he said absolutely, “Don’t ask again.” He grabbed his windbreaker and started to put one arm into the sleeve. Without hesitating, Connor grabbed his arm as tightly as he could.
“Me and Jeremy are working on a project. You have to take me to his house. I already told him you would bring me over! C’mon, Liam, why can’t you?” said Connor, desperately.
